About Wyche T. Coleman III

Dr. Wyche T. Coleman III is an ophthalmologist and partner of Dr. Christopher Shelby at WK Eye Institute. He was the second Louisiana surgeon certified to offer cataract surgery using the LenSx femtosecond laser. He earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution. He invented the IExaminer mobile eye technology, an FDA-approved device that transmits retinal images via iPhone. He specializes in cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, custom LASIK, PRK, and refractive lens exchange.
