About Walid Mangal

Walid Mangal, DO, FACS is a fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal surgeon who has been with Florida Vision Institute since 2015. He completed his undergraduate studies and an MPH at George Washington University and earned his DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore and his ophthalmology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was chief resident, followed by a vitreo-retinal fellowship at the National Retina Institute in Towson, Maryland.
