About Dr. Walid Faraj

Dr. Walid Faraj, DO is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Lam Clinic in Tustin, California, with more than a decade of clinical experience in integrative functional medicine and a focus on immune health, gut function, detoxification support, hormones and nutrition. He graduated from Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and completed his family medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. During residency his father was diagnosed with ALS and offered only a walker, physical therapy and an antidepressant, an experience he describes as the turning point that sent him searching for better approaches to chronic and complex conditions. He then spent seven years at a Native American health clinic in Northern California, where exposure to traditional practices and community-based healing led him to pursue certification in integrative holistic medicine. Born in Venezuela and raised in Southern California, he speaks English, Spanish and Arabic.
