About Truc Nguyen
Dr. Truc "Tru" Nguyen founded Conscious Medicine in Alpharetta, Georgia, in 2015. She is a family medicine and integrative functional medicine physician and a Certified Practitioner of the Institute for Functional Medicine, with advanced training in integrative, regenerative and functional medicine. She began as a traditional family medicine doctor and grew frustrated with a system that managed symptoms instead of solving them; at 30 she was medically induced into menopause, and the practice states she has since guided more than 1,000 women through hormone challenges, autoimmune conditions, gut health, perimenopause and postmenopause. Her stated focus areas are perimenopause and postmenopause, hormone optimization, HRT and BHRT, thyroid health, adrenal and cortisol dysregulation, metabolic health, insulin resistance, the gut-hormone connection and women's longevity. She is also the founder of Conscious Regenerative, a clinic pairing root-cause functional medicine with regenerative therapies.
