About Trey Bennett
Trey Bennett is a nurse practitioner double board certified in adult-gerontology and lifestyle medicine, and the founder of Vitality Lifestyle Medicine in Lenexa, Kansas. He has over 15 years of experience in health care, primarily in the hospital setting, and now works to help people prevent the illnesses that land them in hospital. He started in health care in 2004; his father died in an intensive care unit shortly before he graduated from nurse practitioner school, a loss he cites as driving him toward proactive rather than reactive medicine. He established Vitality Lifestyle Medicine after becoming dissatisfied with the direction of American health care, and sees adults aged 13 to 100 for lifestyle medicine and primary care.
