About Thomas E. Clinch
Thomas E. Clinch, MD is a founding partner of Eye Doctors of Washington who has practiced for over 30 years and performed more than 40,000 LASIK and 20,000 cataract procedures. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, completed his residency at Wills Eye Hospital and a cornea and refractive fellowship at LSU Eye Center, and served in the U.S. Navy as head of ophthalmology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. He has been principal investigator in over 30 clinical trials, authored more than 40 scientific articles, served as president of the Metropolitan Ophthalmology Society, and is a team ophthalmologist for the Washington Capitals.
