About Therese Cusick

Dr. Therese Cusick is the medical director of Breast Care Specialists in Wichita, Kansas, and is a board-certified surgeon and FACS. A mother of five, she is passionate about nurturing future generations and knows the toll breast cancer can take on an entire family. She is dedicated to research and to the genetic implications breast cancer has on a family line. She has a particular passion for working with patients who have a family history of breast cancer to determine whether genetic testing is appropriate. She specializes in risk reduction, early detection and treatment of breast cancer, performing procedures such as breast biopsies, lumpectomy and mastectomy.
