About Tavie Peters
Tavie Peters, APRN, FNP-C is the founder of White Horse Holistic Health in Spring Branch, Texas, and an advanced practice family nurse practitioner specializing in functional and integrative health. She takes the practice's complex cases, including Lyme disease, mold and environmental toxicity, CIRS, long COVID, PANS and PANDAS, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune conditions and multi-system hormonal patterns. She spent 11 years as a registered nurse, mostly in critical care, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016, then worked in chronic and interventional pain management until 2018. Her move into integrative medicine followed her own long search for answers to extreme fatigue, chronic pain, brain fog, hair loss and mood swings, which she eventually traced to mold toxicity from hidden mold in her home compounded by adrenal dysfunction, thyroid mismanagement, histamine intolerance and candida overgrowth. She trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine, the School for Applied Functional Medicine and the Functional Medicine Academy, and has completed advanced coursework in hormone replacement therapy and Lyme disease training through ILADS and Dr. Richard Horowitz. She is a member of ILADS, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
