About Susannah Kerwin
Susannah Kerwin is a board-certified advanced practice nurse practitioner and the founder of Tendwell, a functional medicine practice in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood. She has spent more than two decades in clinical practice and received her training at the University of San Francisco, New York University and the Institute for Functional Medicine, through which she is a certified practitioner. Her career has taken her from San Francisco to New York City to Beijing, where she explored traditional Chinese medicine, and she says that experience showed her how rushed, one-size-fits-all care fails patients with complex histories. At Tendwell she blends advanced testing, root-cause analysis and nutrition-first therapies into personalized care plans, working primarily on perimenopause and menopause, hormone replacement therapy, thyroid conditions including Hashimoto's, gut health and mold toxicity. She founded the practice around the belief that patients deserve to be truly heard and treated as active partners in their own care.
