Ronnie Sue Mackie, APRN, MSN, AGACNP-BC is the owner and sole provider of The Skin and Body Firm in Milton, Massachusetts. She began her medical career 30 years ago as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy, serving four years before completing an associate degree in nursing in 1999, a BSN at the University of Massachusetts Boston and an MSN with adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her nursing career has spanned medicine, labour and delivery, surgery, emergency medicine and critical care, and she continues to work in a busy ICU as a pulmonary critical care nurse practitioner alongside running her aesthetics practice. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Massachusetts Association of Nurse Practitioners and the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine.
