About Steven Svehlak
Dr. Steven Svehlak earned a B.S. in biology from the University of Connecticut and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1994. He completed a general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut, then pursued specialty plastic surgery training at George Washington University, with additional training in facial reconstructive surgery at Children's National Medical Center. In 2002 he received an Advanced Aesthetic Fellowship in Beverly Hills and co-founded Sunset Cosmetic Surgery that same year with Dr. Daniel Yamini. He is double board-certified in plastic surgery and general surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has performed more than 5,000 cosmetic procedures, specializing in the short-scar facelift, brow lift, eyelid and ear surgery, facial fat grafting, and rhinoplasty.
