About Steven F. Hotze

Steven F. Hotze, MD is the founder and chief executive of the Hotze Health and Wellness Center, Physicians Preference Vitamins and Physicians Preference Pharmacy International. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1976, completed a general surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and practiced emergency medicine for five years before opening his own clinic in north Houston, then opened the Katy practice in 1989. His stated goal is to change how women and men are treated through bioidentical hormone therapy, and he developed the eight-point treatment regimen the center uses. He is a past member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and a former president of the Pan American Allergy Society, and is the author of Hormones, Health and Happiness, Hypothyroidism, Health and Happiness, and Do A 180.
