About Shelley Meyer
Shelley Meyer, DO, RDN, IFMCP founded Highlands Health and Wellness in Denver, Colorado. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, holds certification from the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. She is also a registered dietitian nutritionist with a Master of Science in nutrition from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from the University of Florida, and is trained in clinical homeopathy through CEDH. She worked in healthcare for over 20 years, first as a dietitian and then as an osteopathic physician, before moving into integrative and functional medicine. Her specialties are gastrointestinal health optimization, male and female hormone balance, thyroid disorders, adrenal and stress hormone disorders, mind-body medicine and epigenetics.
