About Shannon Evans
Shannon Evans, DO is the founder of New Beginnings Functional Medicine Clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado. She completed medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and a family medicine residency at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency Program in Cheyenne in 2011, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She practiced in a rural Wyoming clinic providing outpatient and emergency services, then worked for a multispecialty group in Hawaii as a family medicine physician until May 2018. After conventional treatment failed to resolve her own fatigue, reflux and allergy symptoms, she began formal training with the Institute for Functional Medicine in September 2015 and is an IFM Certified Practitioner. She works as a functional medicine consultant in partnership with her patients' primary care providers.
