About Shadi Vahdat

Shadi Vahdat is a telemedicine physician with True Health Center for Precision Medicine, board certified in internal medicine and integrative medicine. She holds a BA/BS in molecular and cell biology from UC Berkeley and an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed her internal medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco and residency at Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital, and was an acupuncture fellow at the UCLA Center for East West Medicine. She holds Institute for Functional Medicine training certification and is an assistant clinical professor at UCLA. She has authored cardiovascular research papers and came to functional medicine following her own autoimmune diagnosis.
