About Scott W. Porter
Dr. Scott W. Porter is from Wellington, Kansas. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and completed a surgical residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and serves as president of the medical staff at Wesley Medical Center, as well as an executive member of the trauma committee. In addition to his general surgery practice, he provides surgical services to outlying communities and has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and trauma care.
