About Ron Rothenberg
Ron Rothenberg, MD is the medical director of California HealthSpan Institute in Encinitas, California, and a pioneer in preventive and regenerative medicine. He graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1970, practised medicine and studied indigenous healing in the Amazon Basin, and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He was the tenth physician in the world to be recognised by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. He is a former full clinical professor of preventive and family medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, where he created and directed the Postgraduate Institute for Primary and Emergency Physicians, and has educated over 25,000 physicians through continuing medical education seminars. He remains an attending physician at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.
