About Rob Wilson
Rob Wilson, NP is a functional medicine clinician and board-certified family nurse practitioner who founded Thrive Medical in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2015. He holds a Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner along with bachelor's degrees in nursing and psychology, and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Wilson completed the Kresser Institute's one-year training program under functional medicine clinician Chris Kresser and is the only Kresser Institute-trained provider in Oklahoma; he is also a graduate of the Institute for Functional Medicine's Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice program and is working toward IFM certification. He has further training in methylation, MTHFR and nutrigenomics from the Seeking Health Educational Institute. Originally from Scotland, he came to the United States more than 20 years ago on a soccer scholarship.
