About Riva L. Rahl
Dr. Riva Rahl is Medical Director of Cooper Clinic Platinum, the clinic's direct medicine practice, and a preventive medicine physician. She received a double Bachelor of Arts at Rice University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine internship and a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, serving as chief resident for one year. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She wrote Physical Activity and Health Guidelines and was inducted into the Rice Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019.
