About Richard H. Tholen
Dr. Richard H. Tholen is a co-owner of Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic and serves as its Medical Director. He has been associated with Minneapolis Plastic Surgery since completing seven years of surgical training at the Mayo Clinic in 1987, with additional training in cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, liposuction and ultrasonic liposuction, and laser surgery. He served as co-director for laser education at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and co-chairman for annual courses in Cutaneous Laser Surgery. He has written several peer-reviewed journal articles and presented over 150 papers on cosmetic and plastic surgical procedures, and has served as president of the state and regional plastic surgery societies. As a plastic surgeon for Operation Smile International and Childrens Surgery International, he has performed cleft lip and palate surgery for children in Peru, Venezuela, the Philippines, Romania, and Honduras.
