About Rebecca Ford
Rebecca Ford, ND is the founder of Integrative Medicine Care of Texas in San Antonio. She is a licensed doctor of naturopathic medicine, a clinical nutritionist and a registered nurse, and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner with more than 40 years in health care. She began her career as a registered nurse working in intensive care, where she came to respect conventional medicine's strength in crisis intervention while observing that chronic conditions often went unresolved. She earned a master's degree in nutrition, was among the first certified clinical nutritionists in Texas, and served as nutrition support coordinator at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Twenty-four years into her career she enrolled at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated as a naturopathic doctor. Her practice combines naturopathic medicine, functional medicine, nutrition and conventional medicine, with a focus on bioidentical hormone therapy, peptide therapy and metabolic optimization.
