About Ralph E. Wesley

Dr. Ralph E. Wesley is the Founding Director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center and has extensive experience performing surgery and training surgeons for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He wrote the book Techniques in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and has published chapters and articles extensively, as well as conducted research and teaching at Vanderbilt. He was elected President of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and President of the Nashville Academy of Medicine. He has served in the Medical Corps and the U.S. Army Reserve.
