About Philip Straka

Dr. Philip Straka is a board-certified plastic surgeon known as one of the top breast surgeons in the country, having performed thousands of breast surgeries over more than twenty-five years. He is one of only a small number of surgeons who have been performing en bloc breast implant removal surgery for over 25 years, dating to the original silicone breast implant controversy in the 1990s. He has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1999 and is a member of The Aesthetic Society. He performs procedures in a JCAHO fully accredited surgical center within his office in Rosemont, IL. His practice specializes in complete capsulectomy, en bloc removal, and care for patients with Breast Implant Illness (BII).
