About Philip Kimsey

Dr. Philip Kimsey is a board-certified family physician and certified functional medicine practitioner who founded Foothills Functional Medicine in Oakwood, Georgia. He worked as a traditional family physician for more than 25 years before opening the practice, and also has experience in wound care and in caring for the medically needy. He has held leadership roles within an organization of more than 400 clinical providers and taught as an adjunct biology professor at the University of North Georgia and as adjunct faculty with the Northeast Georgia Health System's Family Medicine Residency Program.
