About Pearl C. Kwong
Pearl Kwong, MD, PhD is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical research principal investigator in Jacksonville, Florida, with over three decades of experience in pediatric and adult dermatology. She earned a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in immunology and microbiology from the University of British Columbia and her medical degree from the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed pediatric specialty training at the University of Alberta and a dermatology residency at McGill University in Montreal. She has held Assistant Professor appointments at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, the Nemours Children's Health System and the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, receiving the Teacher of the Year Award at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in 2004. She founded her private dermatology practice in Jacksonville in 2006 and serves as Lead Principal Investigator for Apex Clinical Trials.
