About Norman Minars
Dr. Norman Minars started his own dermatology practice in Hollywood, Florida in June 1975, beginning on Washington Street before moving to the current Sheridan Street location in 1980. He attended George Washington Medical School beginning in 1967, completed a year-long internship at UCLA, and trained in dermatology for three years at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine, a former President of the Miami Dermatologic Society, and is affiliated with Memorial Regional Hospital, Hollywood Medical Center, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. He has used lasers in his practice since they were first introduced to dermatology and has completed research on fractional CO2 laser parameters.
