About Nidal Makhoul
Nidal Makhoul, MD, FACC is a cardiologist and educator at the Pritikin Longevity Center in Miami. He earned his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine and completed internal medicine residencies at West Virginia University and Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, a cardiology fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute, and further internal medicine and cardiology training at the universities of Lyon and Paris in France. He served as attending cardiologist at the University of Vermont Health Network CVPH Medical Center and has practiced invasive and non-invasive cardiology in urban and rural settings across the United States, Canada and Europe.
