About Nicole Anderson
Nicole Anderson is the medical director and co-founder of The Functional Medicine Center of New Jersey in Saddle River. She practised pediatrics and neonatal intensive care for 25 years, training in pediatrics and neonatology at Children's Hospital of New York and Columbia University after a BA from Hamilton College and an MD from Albany Medical College. She is board certified in general pediatrics and in neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, a certified functional medicine provider through the Institute for Functional Medicine, certified in peptide therapy by the International Peptide Society, certified in bioidentical hormone therapy and precision anti-aging medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy by the International Hyperbaric Association and the International Board of Undersea Medicine. Her focus areas are Lyme and tick-borne illness, environmental and mycotoxin illness, mast cell activation syndrome, hormonal and aging optimisation, and brain health including concussion management.
