About Monte Slater

Dr. Monte D. Slater is the founder and medical director of Slater Aesthetics, which he established with his wife Gail Slater, the practice's director of operations. He is a double board-certified physician and surgeon with over thirty-five years in medicine, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with an emphasis in laparoscopic and urogynecologic surgery and in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1987 and completed his residency at Naval Hospital San Diego, serving as a Medical Corps officer in the United States Navy from 1983 to 1998 and reaching the rank of Commander; he has held department chairman, director of surgical services, medical director and deputy chief of staff roles. He completed hands-on training in the PureLipo technique at the Ageless Regenerative Institute, trained with Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the pioneer of tumescent anesthesia, and took advanced instruction at the Pelosi Institute of Cosmetogynecology; he is also medical director of Buckhead Hair Restoration.
