About Ming Chen
Dr. Ming Chen has served residents of Honolulu, Hawaii and surrounding communities since 1980, providing eye exams, cataract and glaucoma care, and eye surgery. He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a past President of the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society and past Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Kuakini Hospital, and serves on the International Panel for the Advancement of Cataract Surgery. His area of expertise is cataract and refractive surgery, and his practice also offers eyelid plastic surgery and LASIK. He has authored 42 peer-reviewed scientific journal publications and has been named a top American ophthalmologist since 2007.
