About Miles Nichols
Miles Nichols, DAOM is the founder of Medicine With Heart, a functional medicine clinic in Lakewood, Colorado, and of the affiliated Medicine With Heart Institute, which trains practitioners in functional medicine. His father, a public health physician and state senator, died of a heart attack when Nichols was 15. In his twenties Nichols developed chronic fatigue; testing identified subclinical thyroid dysfunction, autoimmune antibodies, mold illness, gut infections, sleep apnea and chronic Lyme co-infections. He recovered using functional medicine protocols and built the clinic's root-cause, mind-body method around that experience.
