Michelle L. Diaz, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained refractive surgeon at Atlantic Eye Institute, specializing in cataract surgery and LASIK. She earned her bachelor's degree summa cum laude from the University of South Florida in 2003 and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her internship, ophthalmology residency, and a term as chief resident at the University of Florida Jacksonville. She practices at the Jacksonville Beach, Bennett Road, and St. Augustine offices and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and ARVO.
