About Michele A. Kettles
Dr. Michele Kettles is Chief Medical Officer and a preventive medicine physician at Cooper Clinic. She received a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania on a full military scholarship. She completed her internal medicine internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, then served in the U.S. Navy as Medical Department Head on the USS Canopus and as Director of Clinical Services at the Naval Air Station Branch Medical Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She subsequently earned a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Kentucky, where she also completed a residency in preventive medicine. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Cooper Clinic, and co-authored Women's Health and Fitness Guide.
