About Michael W. Peterson

Dr. Michael W. Peterson, D.O., is the primary dermatologist at Springville Dermatology & Medical Spa, returning to Utah Valley after 12 years as a U.S. Army medical officer and dermatologist. Raised in Utah County, he graduated from Brigham Young University and attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He completed a dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at UT Southwestern, and is dual board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology. He previously served as Chief of Dermatology at the 121 Hospital in Seoul, Korea, and is an associate professor for the Aspen Dermatology Residency program.
