About Michael Veselak

Dr. Michael Veselak has been in clinical practice for over 40 years and runs Camarillo Functional Health in Camarillo, California. As a Doctor of Chiropractic he developed an understanding of the relationship between the spine, nervous system and whole-body health, which led him into functional neurology — evaluating how specific areas of the brain and nervous system are performing and using targeted, non-invasive rehabilitation. His certification as a Functional Medicine Practitioner added a metabolic dimension, letting him investigate inflammation, hormonal dysregulation, gut dysfunction, mitochondrial failure and hidden infections through advanced laboratory testing. He is also certified in neurofeedback for retraining brainwave patterns in conditions ranging from anxiety and focus disorders to traumatic brain injury and chronic pain. He serves patients throughout Ventura County and the greater Los Angeles area, and is the author of "Managing and Improving Your Peripheral Neuropathy" and "Delay The Decline".
