About Michael Franklin

Michael Franklin is a family nurse practitioner and the sole clinician at Liberty Functional Medicine, with a background in emergency medicine. He describes having witnessed the limitations of mainstream medicine as a nurse and with families whose children had emotional and behavioral challenges, which led him to functional medicine. He places high value on lifestyle changes such as movement, nutrition, sleep and stress management, and works collaboratively with families to uncover and address the root causes of illness. He is licensed as a family nurse practitioner in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, which allows him to prescribe medications.
