About Michael A. Werner
Dr. Michael A. Werner is the founder and medical director of Maze Sexual & Reproductive Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of male sexual dysfunction and male infertility. He is a board-certified urologist who completed fellowship training in male infertility, surgery, and male sexual dysfunction at Boston University Medical Center and a urology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and holds a B.A. in Biology from Harvard College. He is the medical director and founder of Maze Laboratories, and developed a combined sperm-mapping and Extended Sperm Search and Microfreeze technique that allows some men with no sperm in the ejaculate to pursue IVF without open testicular biopsy.
