About Dr. Mario "Doc" Fontes
Dr. Mario "Doc" Fontes is the Clinic Director at Natural Medicine and Detox, holding a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the Council for Homeopathic Certification and a Doctor of Homeopathy D(H) credential. He became the first licensed homeopath in the United States since the 1920s, earned two master's degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, and received his doctorate from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. He is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) and formerly chaired both the Arizona State Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners and the Arizona State Board of Acupuncture Examiners.
