About Marc Ellman
Dr. Marc Ellman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, and glaucoma treatment. He is the founder of Southwest Eye Institute in 2004 and Vista Surgery Center in 2008. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College and a medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, then completed a medical internship at Penn State's Lehigh Valley Hospital and training in medical and surgical eye care at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. He wrote the Cataracts and Glaucoma chapter of Duane's Ophthalmology and regularly teaches cataract surgery techniques to ophthalmologists-in-training. He is fluent in Spanish and is a private pilot volunteer for Angel Flight.
