About Loyd Godwin
Dr. Loyd Godwin founded Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut in 2013 with the goal of building a team of dermatologists providing personalized care, starting in Norwalk and Shelton and since expanding to multiple locations statewide. He graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MD at New York University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and his dermatology residency at Stony Brook University. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and sees adults and children for general, medical, and surgical dermatology, with interests in skin cancer detection and pediatric and adolescent dermatology.
