About Lindsey Adams
Lindsey Adams, FNP is a family nurse practitioner at The Hansell Center for Functional Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University, and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She spent eight years as an ICU nurse and charge nurse in the Washington, D.C. area before becoming a nurse practitioner, and has since practiced in primary care, obesity medicine and functional medicine. Her work focuses on complex chronic conditions, covering nutrition, lifestyle, metabolic health, hormones and gastrointestinal function, and she has completed vector-borne illness fundamentals training through ILADS.
