About Li-Li S. Chia

Li-Li S. Chia, MD, PhD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who founded Irvine Eye Medical Group in Irvine, California in 1990. She completed her undergraduate studies at National Taiwan University and earned a PhD in biochemistry at the University of California, Irvine, then completed medical school and her ophthalmology residency at UC Irvine. She served as a health sciences clinical professor of ophthalmology at UC Irvine from 1987 to 2010. She continues to practice at Irvine Eye Physicians and Surgeons alongside two other ophthalmologists.
