About Lauren Hutson

Lauren Hutson, MD, MBA is the founding physician of Austin Medicine, a concierge primary care and functional medicine practice in Austin, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in neuroscience and biology, then completed her residency in central Texas at Baylor Scott & White through Texas A&M, finishing in 2020. Before founding the practice she spent two years as a hospitalist in an underserved area of New Mexico, managing critically ill patients during the pandemic. She holds ABIM certification in internal medicine and is ABHRT and SSRP certified, with additional training in functional medicine. Her clinical focus is preventive primary care and the management of chronic adult illness.
