About Lars Hertzog

Dr. Lars Hertzog is a fourth-generation surgeon and third-generation ophthalmologist at Eye Physicians of Long Beach, in private practice since 2001; his family practice merged with Eye Physicians of Long Beach in 2014. He earned his medical degree from USC Keck School of Medicine, completed a surgical residency in ophthalmology at UT Southwestern, and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2003; he specializes in microincisional and laser-assisted cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and glaucoma surgery.
