About Koren Barrett
Dr. Koren Barrett is a California licensed naturopathic doctor and the founder of Newport Integrative Health, which she established in 2007. She received her medical education from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she also completed her residency in Naturopathic Family Medicine, and her pre-medical education at the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon. She provides integrative medical care using dietary and lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation and pharmaceutical prescriptions when needed. Her stated philosophy is that given the proper conditions the body has an innate ability to heal, and that therapies with the lowest potential for side effects are considered first.
