About Kathleen Russo

Kathleen Russo, MD, is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in performance and longevity medicine, and is the owner and chief medical officer of Carolina HealthSpan Institute and The MedSpa at Carolina HealthSpan in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Her prior leadership roles include member of the board of directors, president of the medical staff, chair of the executive medical committee, and chair of the department of pediatrics at Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center. She worked in Zambia developing a program to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV that was later integrated into the Zambian health ministry. She founded the Rowan County Child Advocacy Center, where she served as attending physician, and is a current member of Longevity Docs.
