About Kathleen Colorado

Kathleen M. Colorado, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist who has practised in the Tampa area for more than 20 years. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where she teaches medical students and resident physicians. She earned her medical degree at the USF College of Medicine, graduating second in her class, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the USF College of Medicine in 2003, with later post-graduate certification in laser therapies, tumescent laser liposuction and Mohs micrographic surgery. She previously served as a staff dermatologist at The Watson Clinic in Lakeland and as Medical Director of Ideal Image cosmetic laser centers.
