About Kalpesh Patel
Kalpesh Patel, MD, founded Advanced Integrative Medicine in Plainfield, Illinois, after spending two years working as a hospitalist and wanting more time with patients. He is a board-certified internal medicine physician who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earned his MD from Ross University, and completed an internal medicine residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. He precepts nurse practitioner, physician assistant and medical students, and was named Physician of the Year in 2014 by the nursing staff at Rush Copley Hospital, where he also received the Patient Quality and Safety Award. He practices conventional internal medicine combined with a functional medicine approach.
