About Dr. Juan Antonio Ortiz
Dr. Juan Ortiz is a double board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery) with nearly two decades of surgical experience. A native of Puerto Rico, he earned his MD at Ponce School of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency and burn fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and served as Chief of Surgery at a combat support hospital in Afghanistan and Chief of Plastic Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center.
