About Joseph Onorato

Dr. Joseph Onorato has over 30 years of experience practicing dermatology and is board-certified. In 1995 he founded All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, which now serves Glen Cove and Garden City, New York, where he acts as Medical Director focusing on general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies Summa Cum Laude at Adelphi University and graduated with Distinction and Cum Laude honors from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, completing his dermatology residency there as Chief Resident. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is currently a clinical professor for Yale and Columbia University's nurse practitioner programs.
